Branded Environments Internship
Perkins and Will is an interdisciplinary, research-based architecture and design firm established in 1935 and founded on the belief that design has the power to transform lives and enhance communities. Each of the firm’s 24 offices focuses on local, regional, and global work in a variety of practice areas. Perkins&Will are passionate about Living Design, a philosophy that guides the work they do and emphasizes poetics and beauty; conceptual clarity; research and innovation; technology and tectonics; community and inclusion; resilience and regeneration; and health and well-being.
Much of my work is confidential at this time, however I would love to chat about my learnings and experiences.
Sports, Recreation and Entertainment
During my time at Perkins&Will, I had the opportunity to contribute to environmental graphics and signage projects for various sports facilities, including work for Northwestern University and Columbia University. Working within the branded environments team, we collaboratively delivered comprehensive packages, ensuring that the environmental branding and wayfinding solutions authentically reflected each facility's unique identity and stories.

Urban Design
While working at Perkins&Will, I collaborated with the Urban Design team on a project for Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My role involved assisting in the design and consolidation of their research, findings, and proposals into a single document for public presentation.
Education
Perkins&Will boasts a rich history of designing exceptional educational spaces for K-12 and higher education institutions. I had the opportunity
to develop new branding for a university's housing system and supported my team in the final design push for a primary/middle school.
